Spring Hill City Engineer, Jerome Dempsey, has provided for a 20% savings on the $10 million loan that was approved by the Tennessee State Revolving Fund Loan Program for the purpose of expansion of the City’s Waste Water Treatment (sewer) Plant.
Approval of the low interest loan (2.5%) was recently announced by City Administrator, Victor Lay. Mr. Lay said the $10 million loan was approved after Jerome Dempsey submitted the application with a cover letter outlining many “green” items to be incorporated into the expansion. Blair Scoville Morgan was appointed to the position of Spring Hill Municipal Court Judge on July 19, 2010. Judge Morgan says, “I am pleased to step into the position of Spring Hill Judge, as my father, George S. Scoville, Sr., also an Attorney, served as Spring Hill’s City Judge in the early 1960′s.”
