Tennessee Career Centers to sponsor workshops

“Budgeting to Survive a Recession” and “Motivation to Move” Workshops

The Tennessee Career is sponsoring a Budgeting to Survive a Recession Workshop on Tuesday, March 17, 2009, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at 119 Nashville Highway, Suite 106, Columbia, TN.

Topics to include: Budgeting, Prioritizing expenses, Talking with creditors, Ways to save money, Cost cutting techniques, Saving – every little bit will help!, Including children and other family members in your Money management plans & Questions & Answers. Jeanine Denney, Assistant Vice President, Heritage Bank & Trust will facilitate the workshop.

The South Central Tennessee Workforce Alliance, Maury Alliance, The Tennessee Career Centers, and Middle Tennessee Bone & Joint Clinic will host a “Motivation to Move” Workshop on Wednesday, March 25, 2009 at the Mt. Pleasant Community Center, from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The facilitator will be Robert Sweetgall, Author, Walker, and Speaker of Creative Walking.
