Michael Snyder lives in Spring Hill, TN with his wife and four children. This is his second novel, his first titled-My Name is Michael Fink-was released in 2008. Mr. Snyder studied music in college & played guitar professionally for many years. This book is available online at www.zondervan.com/ebooks.
In a unique, sporadic writing style we meet three characters-Willy Finneran, a musician and novelist who cannot move beyond his problems; Ozena Webb, a single mother with a disabled son who works in customer service; and Shaq, a homeless man with selective memory who works at the Mercy Mission house with Father Joe. The book jumps between the stories of each character and eventually their lives intertwine to take them from difficulty and discouragement back to a place of hope. With a slow tone of realism, this book is for readers who have time to follow the day-to-day journeys of these three colorful characters as they work their way through adversity to find that the path of life can lead to unusual turns and unexpected endings that do, indeed make life worth living.
